Patient and Product Line Management

PLM – Patient and Product Line Management system offers healthcare providers a powerful database management system that combines day of stay detail charges by patient with medical record, diagnostic, financial and other patient demographic data elements from the core HIS system. PLM provides each user with a robust patient level database complete with procedural level costs to generate accurate P&L’s for a wide variety of indices, physician resource utilization comparisons, market analysis, as well as cost reduction/revenue improvement analyses from a nearly unlimited number of perspectives.

PLM provides the user with detailed patient level detail information and “drill down” technology using an easy to use end-user interface. Data is used to analyze cost, profitability and resource utilization by physician, DRG, ICD9, APC, product line, department, managed care payer, employer and/or individual patient. Use PLM to quickly test and analyze outcomes of drugs, tests, or services delivered at certain points during patient stays and perform endless “What If” analysis to improve an organization’s bottom line. The capabilities of our SQL patient level database are so broad and diverse that the opportunities are almost limitless to improve financial and clinical performance.
